Het Dierbaarste Bezit (2025)
- Theatre Performance

The performance 'Het Dierbaarste Bezit' is an artistic research into ideal images of love. Using mirrors, it seeks a language in dance and movement to explore relationships, role patterns, and (inter)dependency. The performance forms part of an ongoing project towards a hybrid documentary about the link between feminism and the history of (non-)monogamy.

This project was made possible by a subsidy from Fonds ZOZ.

Kreten / Cries (2024, 15 min)
- Short Film

This audiovisual poem breathes new life into De Profundis, a poem written in 1984 by Jan Laurens Siesling. This associative litany consisting of 288 different cries expresses the very human experience of wanting, needing, to get it all out; to cleanse yourself of whatever plagues your mind. The five young Dutch protagonists in this film recite the text, transforming it through performance arts, animation, and improvised oration.

Burst Out (2023, 33 min.)
- Short Documentary

After the heyday of the 17 October uprising in Lebanon, three artists enter the Egg. This abandoned brutalist building became one of the central places in Beirut that Lebanese people occupied during months of protests. In their own artistic rendering, the three artists seek to interpret their memories and feelings toward the Egg. While not much has improved in Lebanon since the 17 October uprising, the three artists seek to give meaning to their personal relationship with the Egg and the recent uprising that took place in it.
